Pediatric Nutrition

Pediatric nutrition does not follow a “one size fits” all philosophy. Just as each child is unique, the proper nutritional balance for each child is as well. Those children with ADD, ADHD, Autism, MTHFR and Constipation tend to be more nutritionally imbalanced and in need of care. Through the patient’s history, exam and laboratory tests, Whole Child Wellness is able to create highly individualized nutritional and supplemental recommendations. Dr. Brooks, DC, CACCP has successfully created a pediatric nutritional line that has become paramount to her practice and many others.

Integrative Pediatrics

An integrative approach is the key to true pediatric health and wellness. For example, when a child has abdominal pain, ADD, ADHD, Autism, allergies, asthma, MTHFR mutation, bedwetting, developmental delays or ear infections the best way to address this is to exam the child as a whole, using an integrative approach looking at all the components of dysfunction and helping to work toward wellness.

Pediatric Chiropractic

A child encounters many physical and biomechanical stresses during their growing years such as colic, headaches, plagiocephaly, reflux and torticollis. Chiropractic is based on the important relationship between the spine and the nervous system, helping to alleviate these biomechanical stresses. Dr. Amber Brooks, DC, CACCP has a pediatric only practice and can help to enhance future function and well-being.
