The term constipation is used loosely; we imagine that if the stool has a hard consistency or is difficult to get out then we are constipated. In my world constipation should include consistency, frequency and/or difficulty a person may be experiencing. Having daily bowel movements has a lot to do with the functioning of our bodies as a whole because this is the major way we detoxify and rid our bodies of waste. How do you feel if you go 5 days without a bowel movement? Awful I bet. So, why do you think it is okay for your child?

Constipation is a sign of digestive distress, treatments may include:
- Chiropractic (misalignments specifically in the pelvis area)

Having trouble with potty training?
Many parents are troubled that they cannot successfully potty train their child and are unsure of why they are struggling. A common reason children struggle to potty train is because it hurts for them to go or they cannot tell when they need to have a bowel movement so, many accidents happen. Then there are some children that will wait until the last second then run to the bathroom or refuse to use the bathroom at all, instead opting for a pull up. Again, pain is a driving factor although they may not be able to verbalize this to you. If your child is struggling with bowel issues we may be able to help and/or make a proper referral.
